Vincent threw a sudden punch at Ethan mid-chapter, sent him crashing, and the two got into a full argument while fighting. Paula was standing right there the whole time with no idea what the fight was actually about.
After the fight, Vincent — visibly flustered and red-faced — grabbed Paula’s wrist when she tried to walk away. He held it for a moment, caught himself, let go, and told her to stay with Robert. Then he left.
